The AI Activity Power Strip sidecar shows recent successful document changes made through ThinkForge MCP for the active project. It is available in the Power Strip customization catalog but is not added to default or existing profiles automatically.
Adding AI Activity
Open Power Strip customization and add AI Activity to the profile where you want it. Activating the command opens its sidecar.
What It Shows
The sidecar lists up to 100 recent successful document operations:
- Created
- Updated
- Moved
- Indexed
Each row shows the document title, its project-relative folder, the operation, and the relative completion time. Select a row to open the document. The sidecar refreshes while it is open.
Batch artifact saves create one row for each successful document. Searches and document reads are not recorded, and document contents are never copied into the activity list.
Scope and Limits
AI Activity shows only the active project's completed MCP document operations. It does not currently show:
- Work still in progress
- Which connected AI application performed an operation
- Search or read activity
- Operation or time filters
- Activity from other projects
The fixed Activity bell on Power Strip is different: it shows Tool and automation execution activity. AI Activity is an optional sidecar for MCP document changes.
