Use Settings → Account to see your sign-in and desktop-license status. Account access and desktop licensing are separate checks.
Check desktop access
In Settings → Account, the Desktop License panel shows the current access state. Select Refresh license to check it again.
Purchase Think Forge Desktop opens the purchase page. When you are signed in with a desktop license, Manage machines opens the page for managing computers attached to it.
If ThinkForge reports that the device limit has been reached or this computer was deactivated, choose Manage Machines in the access dialog to review the registered computers, then retry access. The Settings action is labeled Manage machines.
Trial and license
The free trial lasts 30 days from when it starts. Use the first 3 days without an account, then sign in or create a free Think Forge account to continue for the rest of the trial. Signing in does not restart the trial. No payment information is required, and the trial does not charge you automatically.
When the trial ends, purchase a desktop license to keep using the app. A one-time version 1 license covers Windows and Mac for one user on up to three active machines total, in any combination. Version 1 updates are included; future major versions may require another purchase.
A signed-in licensed account can still be blocked by a device-limit or deactivation result, so signing in does not override that warning.
If ThinkForge cannot open
The access dialog explains the problem and shows the actions available for that situation. These can include Retry, Sign In / Create Account, purchase or machine management, Open My Files, and Exit.
Use Retry after resolving the reported problem. Use Open My Files to reach your project folder while app access is blocked.
Access checks do not delete, encrypt, move, or edit your project documents. They remain ordinary files you can open and back up.
Sign in to ThinkForge
Open Settings → Account and select Sign In to Think Forge. When signed in, use Sign Out to end that account session.
The Chrome extension has its own sign-in state. Signing into it does not sign you into the desktop app or determine desktop access.
