Keep quick capture and project actions available while using other applications. Power Strip is a floating command bar with buttons and compact sidecar panels.
Use the default commands
A new strip offers Quick Note, Voice to Text, Save Clipboard, Toggle Floating Navigator, Search Memory, Open Project, Tasks, Drop File, and Recents.
Quick Note saves a note to the active project. Save Clipboard captures what you copied. Tasks opens a separate window for the active project's tasks.

Choose commands and arrange them
Select the + button at the end of the strip to open Customize. Add or remove commands on the Commands tab.
To rearrange buttons directly, right-click the strip and choose Rearrange Commands. Drag into the indicated position, then use Done to save or Cancel to discard.
Folder, Agent, Automation, and Browser Agent can have several instances in a stack. See Customization.
Open a sidecar
Commands such as Recents, Smart Clipboard, Folder, and Agent open a panel beside the strip. Selecting the same command again closes it; selecting another swaps the panel.
Some panels accept drops or let you drag files to another application. Their close behavior can be configured. See Sidecar Panels.
Use Chrome commands
Browser commands appear when Chrome is the foreground application. They need the Think Forge Extension desktop companion connected to ThinkForge.
A browser button can remain visible while the extension is disconnected. If it reports that Chrome is not connected, check the extension and leave ThinkForge running.

Run a Tool and check Activity
An Agent command runs a configured Tool. It can use saved input or files, folders, and text dropped on the button. Browser Agent uses the active Chrome page.
The fixed Activity bell opens retained progress and results for long-running work. Closing the cards does not stop a run. Ordinary command confirmations appear briefly as toasts.
The optional AI Activity sidecar is separate: it shows successful MCP document operations.

Show or hide the strip
Use the Power Strip shortcut listed under Settings → Hotkeys. You can also assign eligible top-level commands their own global hotkeys.
Choose Full, Compact, or Peek for the visible layout. Power Strip can restore position and appearance for different foreground applications; command arrangements do not switch live between apps.
