Select the + button at the end of Power Strip to open Customize. Use Commands to choose buttons, Settings for appearance and position, and Status to review the current project and action log.
Add or remove commands
In Commands, add a command from the available list or remove one you no longer need. You can also drag commands to change their order or reset the list to its defaults.
Folder, Agent, Automation, and Browser Agent support additional instances. Right-click the command and use Add Another . The new instance appears in the parent's stacked-command flyout.
Configure a command's folder, Tool, or other binding from that command's own context menu.
Rearrange commands directly on the strip
- Right-click the strip background or header drag handle.
- Select Rearrange Commands.
- Drag a command toward the dot marking the insertion position.
- Release to move it in the draft.
- Select Done to save, or Cancel to discard the draft.
Other buttons stay in place until you release. Rearranging moves top-level commands; child stacks remain attached to their parents.
While rearranging, normal command actions, file drops, and command hotkeys are unavailable. Browser commands stay visible so you can position them. Work already running continues.
Escape cancels the current drag first. Press it when no drag is active to discard the whole session. Hiding Power Strip also discards the session.
If Done cannot save because the command list changed, cancel and reopen rearranging to load the current list. A save failure leaves the draft open for retry or cancellation.
Choose a folder color
Right-click a Folder command bound to the active project and choose Set Color or Change Color.
The folder uses the same saved color as the project folder tree. Both its main button and stacked instances show the color without needing to hover over them. Clearing the color returns the icon to the theme color.
Change appearance and position
In Settings, choose Vertical or Horizontal, and use Display Mode for Full, Compact, or Peek. Peek shows a small handle that expands when engaged.
Use Command Labels to show names beside the strip. Idle Opacity controls the strip's resting visibility. Full opacity when dragging files over strip makes drop targets easier to see during a drag.
Drag the header to reposition an unlocked strip. Use Lock strip position (prevent dragging) to keep it there. Position reset and clamping use the primary screen, which can limit placement on other monitors.
The Hidden display choice does not currently hide the strip. Use the Power Strip visibility shortcut from Settings → Hotkeys.
Place Activity cards
Right-click the fixed Activity bell and choose Power Strip, Left, or Right. Left and Right use the corresponding upper corner of the screen containing the strip.
Activity cards stay fully opaque. The Activity-opacity slider does not change their visible opacity.
Closing the cards does not stop work. Select the bell to reopen retained run information. See Agents and Automations.
Keep appearance settings for different apps
Power Strip restores position, display mode, locking, orientation, and opacity as the foreground application changes. Preview and sidecar behavior can also follow that application's settings.
Command arrangements do not switch live when you change applications.
Use Reset All App Profiles only when you want to discard those application-specific settings and restore the default profile.
Choose preview and sidecar behavior
Right-click the strip and toggle Preview on Save to open previews after supported saves and captures. It does not apply to every command.
Sidecars can stay open, close after an action, close after a successful action, or close when focus is lost. A panel can override the application's default policy.
